1. Interpretation and Definitions

  • Company refers to Rennovise (operated by its founders).
  • Service refers to the Rennovise iOS application.
  • Account means a unique account created via Apple Sign In.
  • Personal Data means data that identifies you, such as your email address and uploaded photos.
  • Usage Data means data collected automatically, such as app activity and diagnostic information.
  • Device means any smartphone or tablet used to access the Service.
  • You means the individual using the Service.

2. Types of Data Collected

Personal Data:

  • Email address (via Apple Sign In or Private Relay)
  • Uploaded room or space photos for redesign
  • In-App Purchase (IAP) history (credits bought)

Usage Data:

  • App feature usage (e.g., number of redesigns, session timestamps)
  • Anonymized crash and performance diagnostics
  • Device type and OS version (non-identifiable)

Note: We do not collect or store payment information. All transactions are handled securely through Apple's App Store.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide AI-powered room and home redesigns
  • Authenticate and manage your user account and credit balance
  • Store your redesign history securely
  • Improve and maintain app functionality
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send critical service-related notifications (no marketing spam)

4. Third-Party Services

We only share data with trusted partners, strictly as needed to operate the app:

  • Supabase – for secure user authentication, credit tracking, and redesign storage
  • OpenAI – for temporary processing of uploaded photos and redesign prompts

We do not sell, rent, or share your Personal Data with any advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. Upon request, we will permanently delete:

  • Your account information
  • All uploaded images
  • Your redesign history

6. Transfer of Data

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that all processing partners meet strong security standards and comply with applicable data protection laws.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data

  • Delete your account and all associated data

8. Children's Privacy

Rennovise is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately. We will promptly delete that data.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

  • All communication with our servers is encrypted (HTTPS / TLS)
  • Data is stored securely using trusted platforms like Supabase
  • Access is restricted to authorized personnel only

While no system is completely immune to threats, we continuously monitor and update our security practices to protect your privacy.

10. Use of Apple Sign In

When you sign in using Apple, we only receive:

  • Your email address (or a private relay email, if you choose to hide it)

This email is used solely to authenticate your account and sync your redesign history and purchases. We do not use this information for any marketing purposes.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you via the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. All updates take effect once posted.

12. Cookie Policy (Website Only)

Rennovise uses cookies on its website (not in the app) to:

  • Maintain website functionality
  • Analyze traffic and improve the site experience

We do not use cookies for advertising or marketing. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
